[Regarding Office Compatibility Software]
This tool is optimized based on official Microsoft Excel components and file structures. Files like Edit.xlsx edited with compatible office suites (e.g., WPS Office, LibreOffice) may cause errors during the STEP 2 reverse conversion process or cause the data linking logic to fail due to structural differences. Please ensure that you use genuine Microsoft Excel.

Notes & Limitations Regarding Environment

Important considerations to review before handling large-scale data or deploying in specific system environments.

1. Memory and File Size Limitations

Since this tool parses and constructs XML structures directly within the system memory, memory consumption scales based on the size of the file being processed.

  • XML data under 100 MB: Operates flawlessly within the minimum system environment (4 GB RAM).
  • Massive log XML files exceeding 500 MB: As a substantial amount of memory is temporarily allocated during conversion and reverse conversion, executing the tool in an environment equipped with 8 GB to 16 GB of RAM is strongly recommended.

2. Interference by Security Software

Due to the application's nature of automatically generating local files (Edit.xlsx, Ref.xml) and writing them directly into system directories, certain security software suites or Windows Defender may temporarily flag it as an "Unknown Application", block its execution, or degrade performance.

[Solution] If the application fails to run properly, please register the executable file (.exe) and its designated working directory into your security software's exclusion settings (whitelist) and attempt execution again.

3. Virtualization and macOS Environments

Direct native execution on macOS is not supported. To utilize this tool within a Mac environment, it must be deployed on a Windows 10 / 11 instance configured via Boot Camp or virtualization software (such as Parallels Desktop). Please note that file read/write performance may be degraded in virtualized setups due to disk I/O virtualization overhead.
